How plumbing companies can charge more for emergency calls

A burst pipe at midnight is worth more to the customer than a slow drain at noon. Plumbers who charge the same for both are leaving money on the table and burning themselves out.
Set a clear after-hours and emergency rate, state it up front, and never apologize for it. The customer who calls at 2am has already decided the problem is worth paying to solve now.
Emergency pricing is not greedy. It is the price of being available when it hurts.
Convert those calls fast, because in an emergency the first plumber to answer usually wins. See speed to lead.
