Conversion rate.
The share of opportunities that turn into the next step: calls into booked jobs, and presented estimates into signed work.
What is conversion rate?
Conversion rate is the percentage of one stage that advances to the next. In home service there are two that matter most: the share of inbound calls that become booked jobs (booking rate), and the share of presented estimates that get approved (close rate).
Why it matters for home service businesses
Owners assume their booking rate is around 80 percent; measured, it is often closer to 55, and the gap is usually missed calls after hours rather than bad selling. On close rate, track estimates presented rather than sent: a tech who closes 30 percent of what they present but only presents on half their calls is a bigger problem than one closing 25 percent on everything.
How Lakehouse handles it
Calls, leads, estimates, and jobs sit on one timeline, so each stage is countable. An AI voice agent answers what your team misses, and estimates track presented, viewed, and approved.
