Price book.

A structured list of the services you sell with the price, scope, and cost behind each one.

What is a price book?

A price book is the catalog your technicians quote from: each task, what it includes, what it costs you, and what the customer pays. Flat-rate shops price from it directly; time-and-materials shops use it for common work.

Why it matters

Without one, pricing is invented in the driveway and varies by technician and mood, which shows up as inconsistent average ticket and unpredictable margin. A well-built price book also makes good-better-best options possible, which raises close rates and ticket size at once.
